The ‘7th Machinery, Furniture and Timber
Products Fair’ was held
from 23- 27 October 2007 in Northern Brazil. The event

doors, windows, panel, plywood, veneer and other

AHEC
(the American Hardwood Export Council) has commissioned
Seneca Creek Associates to carry out a major assessment
study on the risk of illegal wood entering the supply
chain for American hardwood products. Illegal wood is a
major concern and hence needs to be dealt effectively.

US hardwood exporting companies will take part in the
Dubai Wood Show 2008 under the banner of the American
Hardwood Pavilion and hence shows greater faith in the
fair.
